Jon Wood was born in Manchester, UK in 1973. He studied in Edinburgh and completed a masters degree in Stirling, Scotland, before moving to Chile.
He has written four books to date. The first was "Utility" completed in 2002, a fictional novel involving car crime in Manchester. His second novel, "Genesis", was completed in 2005 and is the story of a geneticist involved in cloning humans. This was originally written in English but has been translated for publication in Spanish.
Jon then wrote a technical book on carp fishing called "Carp Fishing Science", before returning to fiction with "Ten Days", a science fiction romance available as an ebook.
He currently lives in Viña del Mar, Chile, and has a daughter, Joanne.
