This book deals with the benefits and the impact of computational thinking through the micro:bit, which can have on a specific group of students in the 1st cycle of Primary Education. The work argument that benefits and improvements are not limited to any specific field of study but in general all across the field of study, using the STEAM methodology. In these changing times, the teaching and learning process should adapt itself to the new innovation. The computational thinking and technology should be present in the classrooms. The reasons for this inclusion have to do with future job prospect and work requirement, as well as proven benefits of computational thinking from an early age in the education. During this project, patterns recognition, logical reasoning and algorithmic thinking are applied to help the students with problem solving ability. It concludes that computational thinking could be very handy tool in their current and future learning process.
